THE following Gentlemen have been appointed Commissioners for the purpose of preparing and framing an "Education Act" for the Province of Hawke's Bay:—

OSWALD CARR, Esq.
E. A. CARLYON, Esq.

DONALD McLEAN,
Superintendent.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the undermentioned application has been registered at this office, and that, failing objections duly given to the Commissioner within three months from the date hereof, a License for the Run will be issued to the applicant:—

District. Name. Area. Boundaries.
North Porangahau Block. Purvis Russell 6000 Bounded towards the North by T. P. Russell's freehold, North Run; towards the East by Fleming & Nelson's freehold; towards the South by Puruhau and Waikopiro streams; and towards the West by application No. 1384.
