PROCLAMATION.

PROVINCE OF HAWKE’S BAY.—OTUMATATI BLOCK.

By DONALD McLEAN, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.

DONALD McLEAN, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby proclaim and notify that the Land described in the annexed Schedule will be open for Public Selection, under the Land Regulations now in force in this Province, at the Land Office, Napier, on and after TUESDAY, the 7th of May, 1867.

Dated this 23rd day of March, in the year of Our Lord One thousand eight hundred and sixty-seven.

Estimated to contain 4470 acres.

Boundaries—The boundary commences at Withanga, thence to the Waikare River, thence to Te Koau, thence to the mouth of Matahourua, thence to the mouth of Mangeongoe, following up the Mangeongoe till it strikes the boundary of the first sale of land to the Queen, namely: the Moeangiangi Block, thence following that boundary to Otumatai, here it runs out to the sea, turns and follows the sea-coast to Withanga, containing in admeasurement four thousand four hundred and seventy acres, more or less, and known by the name of Otumatai.
