All public Notifications which appear in this Gazette, with any Official Signature thereto annexed, are to be considered as Official Communications made to those persons to whom they relate, and are to be obeyed accordingly.

PROCLAMATION.

By DONALD M'LEAN, Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, in the Islands of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the Provincial Council of Hawke's Bay, Session 12 No. 1, it is amongst other things enacted that the Superintendent may, from time to time, by proclamation, appoint public Pounds and Poundkeepers at such places as he may think fit, and at any time to annul such appointments and make others.

Now, therefore, I, Donald M'Lean, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke's Bay, do hereby annul the appointment of J. J. Kelly as Poundkeeper of the Public Pound at Patangata, and do hereby appoint Joseph Withrow Poundkeeper of the said Public Pound, situate at Patangata.

Given under my hand and seal of the Province of Hawke's Bay, this 3rd day of December, 1867.

ERRATA.

In the 16th line, in page No. 107 of the Hawke's Bay Gazette, No. 23, dated 14th November, 1867, for "G. E. Carlyon, Ruataniwha," read "G. Gwavas Carlyon, Gwavas."
