I hereby certify that the foregoing is a correct statement of the Receipts and Expenditure of the Province of Hawke’s Bay for the financial year ending 30th June, 1867, and that the following are the items of unauthorised and over Expenditure during that period.
[The sums expended under the heads of “Native Land Purchases” and “Surveys of Native Lands,” which have been shown as Unauthorised Expenditure in the Abstracts for the quarters prior to the June quarter, do not appear as such in this sheet, they having been transferred to the account of Loan Appropriation £60,000 Act, passed in the Provincial Council of Hawke’s Bay, 1864.]
