IT is hereby notified for general information that Mr. John Stuart’s TENDER for performing the duties of Auctioneer to the Provincial Government of Hawke’s Bay has been accepted.

ERRATUM.

In Proclamation dated August 1, 1867, No. 16, “Hawke’s Bay Gazette,” notifying that certain land will be open for public selection, for “Wednesday, the 12th of October,” read “Wednesday, 16th October.”


Immigration Office,
Napier, August 22, 1867.

A very great dilatoriness has been displayed by Immigrants and their sureties in repaying to the Provincial Government the amount of the passage money advanced by them.—This is to notify that, unless immigrants comply with the conditions of the Regulations, they will be immediately called upon for a refund in total of their passage money, and the Government will strictly enforce the fulfilment of those Regulations.
