PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Donald M’Lean, Esq.,
Superintendent of the Province of
Hawke’s Bay, in the Islands of
New Zealand.

DONALD M’LEAN, Superintendent
of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, in
pursuance of the power and authority
vested in me on this behalf, Do hereby
proclaim and appoint that the Provincial
Council of Hawke’s Bay shall meet for
the despatch of business, at the Council
Chamber, at Napier, on Tuesday, the
25th instant, at three o’clock p.m.

Dated this 4th day of September, one
thousand eight hundred and sixty-
six.

PROCLAMATION.

Now, therefore, I, Joseph Rhodes, Do
hereby proclaim and notify that the above
mentioned Act has been duly laid before
His Excellency the Governor, and having
received his assent, is, under the provisions of the Act of the General Assembly
before referred to, in force within the
Province of Hawke’s Bay from the date
of this Proclamation.

Dated at Napier this twenty-seventh
day of August, one thousand
eight hundred and sixty-six.

PROCLAMATION.

By Donald M’Lean, Esquire,
Superintendent of the Province of
Hawke’s Bay, in the Colony of
New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the General
Assembly of New Zealand, intituled
“The Provincial Reserved Bills
Act, 1858,” it is provided that no Bill re-
served for the signification of the Go-
vernor’s pleasure shall have any force
within the Province until the Superinten-
dent shall signify, as therein specified,
that it has been laid before the Governor,
and that His Excellency has assented to
the same.

And whereas an Act intituled “The
Papakura and Hikototo Leasing Bill”
was passed by the Provincial Council of
Hawke’s Bay during the last Session, but
reserved by me for the signification of the
Governor’s pleasure.


PROCLAMATION.

By His Honor Joseph Rhodes,
Esquire, Deputy-Superintendent
of the Province of Hawke’s Bay,
in the Islands of New Zealand.

WHEREAS by an Act of the General
Assembly of New Zealand, intituled
“The Protection of certain Animals Act 1865,”
it is provided that the Governor may, by
Order in Council, under his hand from
time to time, delegate to any Super-
intendent all or any of the powers vested
in the Governor or the Governor in Coun-
cil by the aforesaid Act, subject to such
Regulations as he may think fit, and may
from time to time rescind such Delega-
tion.

And whereas, by an order in Council
dated the 24th day of August, 1866, the
Governor hath delegated to me, Donald
M’Lean, as Superintendent of the Pro-
vince of Hawke’s Bay, all the powers
vested in him the said Governor as Go-
vernor or as Governor in Council by the
aforesaid Act, so long as I, the said
Donald M’Lean, shall continue and remain
Superintendent of the said Province and
no longer.
