NOTICE.

Provincial Treasury,
Napier, November 13, 1865.

A great inconvenience is caused by the present system of rendering accounts and vouchers for payment to the Provincial Treasury, notice is hereby given that on and after the First proximo the following rules must be strictly adhered to:

The Ninth to the Fifteenth, inclusive, of each month; but when the First or Third falls on a Sunday, or Public Holiday, the time will be extended to the Second and Fourth.

3rd. It is to be particularly understood with reference to the Second rule, that accounts and vouchers not furnished in time, will have to stand over until the Ninth of the following month, before they can be paid; and that all such accounts and vouchers must be properly authenticated, dated, and supported by the requisition or other authority on which the supplies were ordered, or they will not be received.

1st. Salary vouchers to be sent to the Treasury by Four o’clock on the First of each month, and payments will be made on the Third instant.

2nd. All other accounts and vouchers against the Provincial Government to be sent in not later than Four o’clock on the Third, and payments will be made from...
