IT IS hereby notified for general information that a writ for the election of a Member to serve in the Provincial Council of Hawke’s Bay for the Napier County District having been issued in accordance with clause 12 of “An Act to grant a representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand,” the Returning Officer has returned the said writ with a certificate that the undermentioned gentleman has been duly elected to serve as a

Member of the said Provincial Council for the said Napier County District.
