has resigned the appointment of Treasurer of the Province of Hawke’s Bay.

VAUTIER JANISCH Esq.,
has been appointed Treasurer of the Province of Hawke’s Bay to take effect from this date.

PROCLAMATION.

BY DONALD M’LEAN Esq., Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay in the Islands of New Zealand.

I, DONALD M’LEAN, Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay, in virtue of a Warrant dated the 26th day of August 1861, under the hand of His Excellency the Governor delegating to me the power of appointing and removing Returning Officers and also of appointing and establishing Polling Places for the Election of Members of the Provincial Council of Hawke’s Bay, do hereby in pursuance of the power and authority vested in me by the said Warrant appoint the following person to be Returning Officer for the Electoral District set opposite his name:

WILLIAM HENRY HUNTER Esq.,
for the District of Porangahau.

Dated this Eleventh day of May in the year of our Lord One Thousand eight hundred and sixty-three.
