NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that, commencing with the ensuing month of January, 1864, all vouchers (whether for salaries or contingent expenses) intended for current liquidation, must be furnished to this office by 4 o’clock, p.m., on the first day of each month; and that payment will be made on account of the same, on the fourth day of such month: Provided that in the event of such first or fourth days being a Sunday or a holiday, the rule will apply to the next subsequent day or days.
