PROCLAMATION.

Superintendent of the Province of Hawke’s Bay,
in the Islands of New Zealand.

JOHN CHILTON LAMPTON CARTER,
Esq., Superintendent of the Province of
Hawke’s Bay, do hereby proclaim that a Sale of
Crown Lands will take place at the Crown Lands
Office, Napier, on Monday, 17th March, 1862,
at Noon precisely, when the Allotments of Land
specified in the Schedule hereunto annexed, and
which have been duly certified by the Commission
er of Crown Lands, on the application of intend-
ing purchasers, as being unavailable for agricul-
tural purposes, will be put up to Public Auction at
the upset price of 5s. per acre, in accordance with
the Land Regulations of the 4th March, 1853, and
the additional Regulations for the Amendment
and extension of the said Regulations, recommend-
ed by the Superintendent and the Council for the
Province of Wellington, (Session 2,) to the Govern-
or.
