It is hereby notified for general information that a Writ for the Election of a Member to serve in the Provincial Council of Hawke’s Bay for the Town of Napier having been issued in accordance with clause 12 of “An Act to Grant a Representative Constitution to the Colony of New Zealand,” the Returning Officer has returned the said Writ, with a certificate that the undermentioned Gentleman has been duly Elected to serve as a Member of the said Provincial Council for the said Town of Napier,—

It is hereby notified that the Native Title has been extinguished over the Block of Land whereof the boundaries are mentioned or described in the Schedule hereunto annexed.

SCHEDULE.
PROVINCE OF HAWKE’S BAY.
Tukuwaru Reserve (Hapuku’s Block).
Estimated to contain 71 acres.
Situated on the Waipawa River, near its junction with the Tuketuke, and being one of eight portions within the boundaries of the land known as “Hapuku’s Block,” marked out and reserved by the Native owners at the time of sale of that block to the Government.
