PROCLAMATION.
By JOHN CHILTON LAMBTON CARTER,
Esq., Superintendent of the
Province of Hawke's Bay, in
the Islands of New Zealand.
I, JOHN CHILTON LAMBTON CARTER,
Esq., Superintendent of the Province
of Hawke's Bay, in virtue of the Powers and
Authority vested in me in this behalf, Do
Hereby Proclaim the Building Erected upon
the Piece of Ground Situated in the Township
of Napier, and Province of Hawke's Bay,
Bounded on the North and North-East by
Coote-Road, on the East by Beach-Road, on
the South by Suburban Section No 89, and
on the West by Suburban Section No. 84; to
be a Public Gaol.
Given Under my Hand and Issued
Under the Public Seal of the
Province of Hawke's Bay,
this Third Day of June, One
Thousand, Eight Hundred
and Sixty-Two.
