AGRICULTURAL RESERVE

AT HAMPDEN.

Superintendent\'s Office,
November 11, 1861.

NOTICE is hereby given to Heads
of Families and others of the
Working Classes that this Reserve is
now open for selection and occupation,
subject to such Regulations, Price, and
Conditions as the Provincial Council
may determine on its next session.
Applications will be received at this
office from persons desirous to become
bonâ fide occupiers.

Should, however, the number of ap-
plicants exceed the number of Sections
to be selected from in the Reserve, or,
if two more persons are applicants for
the same Section: in such cases the
right of selection shall be determined
by ballot on a date to be hereafter no-
tified.

IT is hereby Notified for general in-
formation that a writ for the
election of one Member to serve in the
Provincial Council of Hawke\'s Bay
for the District of Waimarama having
been issued, in accordance with the
"Provincial Council Enlargement
Act," Session 3, No. 2, the Returning
Officer has returned the said Writ with
a certificate that the undermentioned
gentleman has been duly elected to
serve as a member of the said Provincial
Council for the said District of Wai-
marama—

Election of one additional Member to
serve in the Provincial Council of
Hawke\'s Bay for the Te Aute district
having been issued, in accordance with
the "Provincial Council Enlargement
Act," Session 3, No. 2, the Returning
Officer has returned the said Writ with
a certificate that the undermentioned
gentleman, has been duly elected to
serve as an additional member of the
said Provincial Council for the said Te
Aute District—
