IT is hereby notified for general information that I have this day received and accepted the resignation of
JOHN DAVIS ORMOND, ESQ.,
as member of the Provincial Council of Hawke\'s Bay for the district of Waipukurau.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Partnership for some time past carried on between us the undersigned JOHN ALEXANDER SMITH and VAUTIER LAMBE MACHADO JANISCH, under the Firm of John Alexander Smith & Co., at Napier, in the Province of Hawke\'s Bay, was this day dissolved by mutual consent. The business will from henceforth be carried on by Vautier Lambe Machado Janisch only. All accounts against the late Firm are to be sent into J. A. Smith, who is hereby authorised to discharge all debts and to receive all credits on account of the said copartnership.
As witness our hands this fifth day of November, 1861.
