PROCLAMATION.

of Hawke's Bay in the Islands of
New Zealand.

I, TER, Superintendent of the Province
of Hawke's Bay, do hereby proclaim and
notify, that at noon on Saturday the 29th
day of June next, will be offered to public
competition at the Survey Office, Napier,
under the provisions of the Land Regula-
tions now in force within this Province,
Sections in the Kereru and Eparaima Bush,
Village of Wallingford, and on a line of
road from Pukikura to Eparaima, and from
Wallingford to Blackhead, that are referred
to in the Schedule hereunto annexed, and
at the upset prices mentioned therein.

Dated at Napier this fourteenth day of
May, in the year of our Lord One
thousand eight hundred and sixty one.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN
that, pursuant to a resolution of
the Provincial Council of Hawke's
Bay, it is intended to apply for an Act
of the General Assembly, at its ensu-
ing session, to enable the Superinten-
dent of the Province of Hawke's Bay,
with the view of removing a public
nuisance, to purchase certain lands in
the town of Napier (and which lands
are specified in the Schedule to this
Notice), either with the consent of the
Proprietors of the said lands or other-
wise, and to empower the said Super-
intendent to borrow money upon De-
bentures to carry out the purposes be-
fore mentioned.

Notice is further given, that Plans
and Index Books, shewing the land
proposed to be purchased, and the
names and additions of the owners
thereof will be deposited at the follow-
ing places:—

At the office of the Superintendent
of the said Province of Hawke's
Bay.

And at the office of the Commis-
sioner of Crown Lands.
