PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS the owners and occupiers of land and householders in the Educational District of Lincoln have failed within the time limited for that purpose by the Board of Education to contribute and pay to the Provincial Treasurer the amount fixed by the Board as the contribution of the said district for school purposes:
Now, therefore, I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me, and by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby declare an uniform rate of Ninepence in the £ to be leviable within the said district under the provisions of the 42nd section of "The Education Ordinance, 1873," and I do hereby appoint
John Taylor
as the person to whom the said rate shall be paid.
Given under my hand at Christchurch, this 5th day of February one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has been pleased to make the following appointments:—
Henry Grimes Graeme to be an Assistant Surveyor; his appointment to date from 24th December, 1874.
James Crawford to be an Assistant Surveyor; his appointment to date from 28th January, 1875.
Leeuwin Alfred Slater to be an Assistant Surveyor; his appointment to date from 1st February, 1875.
