PROCLAMATION.
I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury,
in pursuance of the powers vested in me by
"The Canterbury Trespass of Cattle Ordinance, 1872," and by, and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, do hereby proclaim that the Enclosure erected by the Courtenay Road Board at Greendale contained in a fenced line, commencing at the north-west corner of Rural Section 12862, following southerly along western boundary of said Section, a distance of 10 chains; thence westerly 4 chains 50 links; thence north-westerly a distance of 9 chains 60 links to the Bealey Road; thence along Bealey Road to the starting point shall be deemed and taken to be a Public Pound within the meaning of the above recited Ordinance from and after Saturday, the 30th day of January, 1875, and I do hereby appoint George Goodman to be Poundkeeper at the said Pound.
Given under my hand at Christchurch, this 14th day of January, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-five.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves temporarily under the 19th clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, viz.:—
No. 1851, (in red).—One acre, more or less, situate in the Timaru District, bounded on the eastward by Burke’s Pass Road; on the south-westward by Section 13695, and on the northward by a line in continuation of the northern side of the road forming the northern boundary of Section No. 6285.—For Road Board Office.
No. 1853, (in red).—Ten acres, more or less, situate in the Timaru District, taking frontage to the Burke’s Pass Road, and extending north-westerly a distance, on the average, of 10 chains south-west of and adjoining Section No. 18695.—For Public Pound.
No. 1856, (in red).—Forty-three acres, more or less, situate in the Timaru District, bounded on the northward by Reserve No. 102 (in red), and also by Section No. 1702 on the eastward by H. W. Mark; on the westward by a line parallel to the general direction of the eastern boundary, and 7 chains distant, on the average, therefrom; and on the southward by Sections Nos. 3753, 3252, and also an east and west line (mag) drawn from the northernmost corner of the latter Section to high water mark.—For Railway Purposes.
No. 1858, (in red).—One hundred and sixty-two acres, more or less, situate in the Timaru District, bounded on the eastward by Reserve No. 1856 (in red).
