HIS Honor the Superintendent has approved of the following Tariff of Charges for the Timaru Landing Service,

viz. :—

Passengers, Whaleboat, return ... 3
Lifeboat ... 20
Luggage, not exceeding 1cwt. ... Free

No extra charge allowed for outer anchorage.

Storage.—On all goods for shipment if by a steam vessel in port or by a vessel in port and ready to receive cargo—No charge for receiving, delivering, and storage. All goods landed to be applied for within twenty-four hours or storage charged.

NOTICE.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has, in accordance with section 56 of “The Education Act, 1873,” appointed the following persons to whom the annual sums payable, under the 55th section of the said Ordinance, in the undermentioned Educational Districts respectively, shall be paid on or before the 19th day of May, 1875, and has fixed the following as the places at which the said sums shall be paid in the respective districts:—
