No. 1835 (in red). One thousand three
hundred acres, more or less, situate
in the Christchurch District; com-
mencing at the south-east corner of
Reserve 1250 (in red); thence easterly
and northerly following the road
passing through section 14423 and a
line in continuation of the western
side of said road to sections 10754
and 10755; thence westerly and
northerly following the southern and
western boundaries of latter sections
to the south-east corner of section
11269; thence westerly and northerly
following the southern and western
boundaries of said section to its
north-west corner; thence in a
straight line to the south-west corner
of section 14143; thence northerly
following the south-west boundary of
this section to the road passing
through section 14181; thence fol-
lowing that road south-westerly to
the northernmost corner of aforesaid
Reserve 1250 (in red); thence south-
easterly and south-westerly following
the north-eastern and south-eastern
boundaries of said Reserve to the
commencing point; save and except
sections 22075, 14539, 14307, 14308,
14348, 18057, and portions of sections
14423, and 14181, which are included
within the above described boundaries.
Subject to roads.
No. 1836 (in red). Ten acres, more or
less, situate in the Oxford District;
bounded on the south-east by the
road leading across the river Ashley
to section No. 7982; on the north-east-
ward by the said river; on the north-
westward by a line parallel to and
ten chains distant from the south-
eastern boundary; and on the south-
westward by a line at right angles to
the aforesaid road, drawn from the
first angle in the same south of the
river Ashley above mentioned.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs
it to be notified that he has made the
following Reserves temporarily under the
19th Clause of the Waste Lands Regula-
tions, viz:β
No. 1837 (in red). Five acres, more or
less, situate in the Timaru District;
bounded on the southward by the
Orari and Pleasant Valley road, on
the westward by the road east of
section No. 15534, on the eastward
by Reserve 389 (in red), and on the
northward by a line parallel to the
southern boundary, so as to contain
the above quantity. For a Gravel
Pit.
No. 1838 (in red). One hundred acres,
more or less, situate in the Timaru
District; bounded on the southward
by the road forming the northern
boundary of section No. 12178, on
the northward by the Orari and
Pleasant Valley road, on the west-
ward by the road forming the eastern
boundary of section No. 13960, and
on the eastward by Reserve 389 (in
red); save and except sections Nos.
16406 and 19657, which are included
within the above described boundaries.
For Planting purposes.
No. 1839 (in red). Seventy-six acres,
more or less, situate in the Oxford
District; bounded on the south-
westward by section 18719, on the
north-westward by the road forming
the north-western boundary of that
section, on the eastward by section
No. 21996, and on the north-eastward
by a line drawn from the north-
western corner thereof, to the first
angle in the aforesaid road, west of
Pre-emptive right No. 79. For
Planting purposes.
No. 1841 (in red). Eleven acres one rood
situate in the Timaru District;
bounded on the south-east by section
14964, on the north-east by the road
north-east of that section, on the
south-west by section 15937, and on
the north-west by the continuation of
the road separating sections 15937
and 15938. For a Gravel Pit.
No. 1842 (in red). Five acres, more or
less, situate in the Timaru District;
bounded on the south-east by the
road forming the north-western
boundary of section No. 1244, on the
north-eastward by section 2254, on
the north-westward by a line in con-
tinuation of the north-western bound-
ary of the latter section, and on the
south-westward by the road forming
the south-western boundary of section
21505. For a Gravel Pit. The above
described land is part of Rural
Section No. 22158.
