No. 1728, in red.—Five acres, more or
less, situate in the Timaru District;
bounded on the south-west by the
road north-east of section 16699; on
the south-east by the road south-east
of that section; on the north-east by
a line parallel to the south-west
boundary and 10 chains distant
therefrom, and on the north-west by
a line at right angles to the south-
west boundary, and 10 chains distant
on the average from the south-east
boundary.—For a gravel pit.

No. 1729, in red.—Five acres, more or
less, situate in the Timaru District,
having 10 chains frontage on the road
south-east of section 17626, and ex-
tending back north-westerly five
chains in a rectangular block north-
east of and adjoining said section
17626.—For a gravel pit.

No. 1730, in red.—Five acres, more or
less, situate in the Timaru District,
having ten chains frontage on the
Geraldine and Rangitata Road, and
extending back north-westerly five
chains in a rectangular block. The
southernmost corner of this reserve
is to be about 58 chains N.E. of the
junction of the road before mentioned
with the Geraldine and Peel Forest
Road.—For a gravel pit.

No. 1731, in red.—Five acres, more or
less, situate in the Timaru District,
having 10 chains frontage on the
Geraldine and Peel Forest Road, and
extending back easterly five chains in
a rectangular block. The south-west
corner of this reserve to be about four
chains north-east of the south-east
corner of section 19828.—For a
gravel pit.

No. 1732, in red.—Five acres, more or
less, situate in the Timaru District,
having frontage to the road south-
west of reserve 1569 (in red), and ex-
tending back north-easterly at right
angles to the said road to the foot of
the southern high bank of the Rangi-
tata River. The southernmost cor-
ner of this reserve to be about 35
chains north-west of the western-
most corner of reserve 1569 (in red.)
—For a gravel pit.

No. 1733, in red.—Five acres more or
less, situate in the Timaru District;
having frontage on the road south-
east of section 17516; bounded on
the south-west by the northern high

bank of the River Orari; on the
south-east by a line parallel to
the north-west boundary and 10
chains distant therefrom; and on the
north-east by a line at right angles
to the north-west boundary so as
to include the required quantity.—
For a gravel pit.

No. 1734, in red.—Five acres more or less,
situate in the Timaru district; having
frontage to and being bounded on
the southward by the road southward
of section 15119; on the eastward by
the Orari River; on the northward
by a line parallel to the southern
boundary and 10 chains distant there-
from; and on the westward by a line
at right angles to the southern
boundary so as to include the re-
quired quantity.—For a gravel pit.

No. 1735, in red.—Ten acres, more or less,
situate in Red John's Gully, at Little
River, Banks' Peninsula District;
bounded on the north-west by
the road leading from Little River to
Barry's Bay, and extending in a
south-easterly direction a distance on
the average of ten chains.—For
metal reserve.

No. 1736, in red.—One acre more or less
situate in Gebbie's Valley in the
Lincoln District; having frontage on
Gebbie's Pass Road and extending
back north-westerly five chains on
the average, south-west of and ad-
joining section No. 21324.—For Pro-
vincial Government purposes. N.B.
—The above land is included within
the limits of Pre-emptive Right
No. 164.

No. 1737, in red.—Fifty acres more or
less, situate in the Oxford District;
bounded on the westward by the road
forming the western boundary of
section No. 9760; on the southward
by that section and a line in continu-
ation of the northern boundary
thereof; on the northward by C.A.P.
Right No. 79; and on the eastward
by a line at right angles to the
southern boundary so as to include
the above quantity.—For Provincial
Government purposes.

No. 1738, in red.—Fifty acres more or
less situate in the Oxford District;
bounded on the eastward by the road
forming the western boundary of
section 9117; on the southward by
the road forming the northern
boundary of section 7676; on the
westward by the road forming the
eastern boundary of reserve 1249 (in
red); and on the northward by a line
at right angles to the western
boundary so as to contain the above
quantity.—For Provincial Govern-
ment purposes.

No. 1739, in red.—Fifty acres more or
less situate in the Oxford District;
bounded on the eastward by the con-
tinuation of the road forming the
