KAIAPOI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
BY-LAW of the Council of the Borough of Kaiapoi, made under the Municipal Corporations' Act, 1867.
In pursuance of the 186th Section of the above Act, the Council of the Borough of Kaiapoi ordain as follows:—
It shall not be lawful for any person to wilfully run, draw, or drive any truck, wheelbarrow, cart, or carriage whatsoever, or wilfully ride, lead, or drive any horned or neat cattle on any formed public footpath in the Borough; and any person so offending, shall, upon conviction, forfeit and pay for every such offence any sum not exceeding Five Pounds, and not less than Ten Shillings.
Passed by the above-named Council this 27th day of September, 1872.
