CUST PUBLIC POUND.
HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has, with the advice and consent of his Executive Council, and pursuant to Clause 14 of "The Canterbury Trespass of Cattle Ordinance, 1872," handed over to the Cust Road Board the control of the Public Pound situate in the Cust District, the boundaries of which are fully set out in the proclamation by his Honor the Superintendent, dated 5th May, 1873, published in the Provincial Government Gazette dated 14th May, 1873.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has appointed the following to be the place at which the Poll shall be taken at the election of Members of the Road Board for the Waipara District:
The Road Board Office at Waikari, instead of Heathstock Station, as previously appointed.

NOTICE.
HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that the Canterbury Acclimatization Society has this day in accordance with the provisions of Clause 4 of "The Protection of Animals' Act, 1873," registered its rules by depositing a copy of the same signed by the Chairman, and countersigned by Three Members thereof in the office of the Superintendent, and accordingly the Canterbury Acclimatization Society shall for the purposes of the above recited Act be deemed to be a duly registered Acclimatization Society.
