WARRANT OF APPOINTMENT.
I, SAMUEL HEWLINGS, Chief Surveyor of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me under the 3rd clause of "The Canterbury Waste Lands Act, 1873," do hereby appoint:
JOSEPH RAWLINGS FUSSELL,
Chief Draftsman in Timaru Survey Office,
or in his absence from illness or other cause,
JAMES BOYS,
Draftsman, also of the Timaru Survey Office,
to be persons to prepare Forms of Application made in the Survey Office, Timaru, for the purchase of any portion of rural land within the said Province, and to initial the said Forms of Application, and to note thereon the precise time at which the application shall have been made under the 3rd clause of "The Canterbury Waste Lands Act, 1873."
Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this 20th day of October, 1873.
