PROCLAMATION.

I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me under the 27th section of "The Education Ordinance, 1873," do hereby, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, abolish the Rakaia Educational District.

Given under my hand at Christchurch, this eighteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

PROCLAMATION.

I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, with the advice of my Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Waste Lands Board, fix 4 o'clock p.m. on Thursday in every week, as the latest time up to which applications for the purchase of Rural Land, to be heard by the Board at its sitting on the following Monday, can be made, and in like manner fix 4 o'clock p.m. on Tuesday in every week as the latest time up to which applications for the purchase of Rural Land, to be heard by the Board at its sitting on the following Thursday, can be made.

Given under my hand at Christchurch, this fourteenth day of October, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.
