PROCLAMATION.

I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me under the 27th section of "The Education Ordinance, 1873," do hereby, with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, abolish the Lower Heathcote District.

Given under my hand at Christchurch, this twelfth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that in pursuance of the powers vested in him, he has appointed

WALTER HENRY HADDRELL

to be an Inspector of Slaughter Yards for the Christchurch District, and

FRANCIS HENRY MORICE

to be an Inspector of Slaughter Yards for the Ashburton District.
