PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by "The Canterbury College Ordinance, 1873," it is among other things provided that the Governors of the Canterbury College shall meet for the first time at such place as the Superintendent shall appoint:

Now, therefore, I, William Rolleston, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury do hereby appoint Wednesday, the ninth day of July, 1873, at eleven o'clock a.m., at the Government Buildings, as the time and place at which the first Meeting shall be held.

Given under my hand at Christchurch, this second day of July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.

Resident Magistrate's Court,
Christchurch, 3rd July, 1873.

WHEREAS a Hotel License granted in accordance with "The Public House Ordinance, 1866," to Jacob Shepherd Wagner of Christchurch, was not applied for on or before the 1st July instant, I hereby give notice that the said License has been withheld, and referred to the Superintendent, according to Clause 18 of the above recited Ordinance.
