HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that in pursuance of the powers vested in him he has appointed

FRANCIS HENRY MORICE

to be Inspector of Slaughter Yards for the Christchurch District.

PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by a Proclamation bearing date the 5th February, 1872, I, William Rolleston, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of a Resolution of the Provincial Council to that effect, did proclaim the Province as a district which it should be lawful for the Waste Lands Board to include in any License to cut timber:

Now, therefore, I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON, the Superintendent as aforesaid, in pursuance of a Resolution of the Provincial Council bearing date the 3rd day of June, 1873, do hereby revoke the said Proclamation.

Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this fourth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-three.
