✨ Land Reserves for Gravel Pits

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs
it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th Clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, for Gravel Pits, viz.:
No. 1390, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the south-eastward by 14808; on the north-westward by a line parallel to and five chains distant from the south-eastern boundary; on the southward by the continuation of the road forming the south-western boundaries of 15855 and 15854; and on the north-eastward by a line at right angles to the south-eastern boundary, so as to include the required quantity.—Subject to a road.
No. 1391, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-westward by the road forming the north-western boundary of 15553; on the south-westward by the road forming the south-western boundary of 15342; and on the north-eastward by a line at right angles to the south-eastern boundary of the first-mentioned road, to include the required quantity.
No. 1392, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-east by 15548; on the south-east by the road forming the south-eastern boundary of the same; on the north-west by a line ten chains distant from and parallel to the south-east boundary; and on the south-west by a line at right angles to the south-east boundary, to include the required quantity.
No. 1393, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-east by 15597; on the south-east by the road forming the south-eastern boundary of 15597; on the north-west by a line parallel to and ten chains distant from the south-east boundary; and on the south-west by a line at right angles to the south-east boundary, to include the required quantity.
No. 1394, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-east by 15496; on the north-west by the road forming the north-west boundary of 15496; on the south-east by a line parallel to and ten chains distant from the north-west boundary; and on the south-west by a line at right angles to said road, to include the required quantity.
No. 1395, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-east by the road forming the south-west boundary of 7129; on the north-west by the road running from the westernmost corner of 7129 south-westerly, to meet the Alford Forest road; on the south-west by a line parallel to and ten chains distant from the north-east boundary; and on the south-east by a line at right angles to the said north-east boundary, to include the required quantity.
No. 1396, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-east by the road forming part of the south-west boundary of 15346; on the south-east by a line in continuation of south-east boundary of section 7130; and on the north-west by a line at right angles to said road, to include the required quantity.
No. 1397, in red.—Ten acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-east by the road forming the south-east boundary of 6502; on the north-west by the road forming the north-west boundary of the same; on the south-east by South road and Railway Reserve; and on the south-west by a line at right angles to the south-east boundary, to include the required quantity.
No. 1398, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, having five chains frontage to the road leading westerly from the westernmost corner of 6502, and extending southerly ten chains in a rectangular block; the north-east corner of this reserve is situated about one hundred and twenty-seven chains west of the westernmost corner of 6502.
No. 1399, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, having five chains frontage to the road leading westerly from the westernmost corner of 6502, and extending southerly ten chains in a rectangular block; this reserve is situated about one hundred and sixty chains west of reserve 1398, in red.
No. 1401, in red.—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the northward by the road leading westerly from the westernmost corner of 6502; on the south-west by the road forming the north-east boundary of 10093; and on the south-east by a line at right angles to the latter road, to include the required quantity.
