HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, for Gravel Pits, viz.:
No. 1385, in red.—Five acres more or less, situate in the Mandeville district, having five chains frontage on the Rangiora and Waimakariri Road, and extending easterly ten chains in a rectangular block south of and adjoining 1046.
No. 1386, in red.—Five acres more or less, situate in the Mandeville district, having five chains frontage on the Waimakariri No. 10 Road and extending easterly ten chains in a rectangular block, the north-west corner being thirty four chains south of the south-west corner of 12749.
No. 1387, in red.—Five acres more or less, situate in the Mandeville district, having five chains frontage on the south-west side of the Cust Road, and extending south-westerly ten chains in a rectangular block, the northernmost corner being about ten chains south-east of the southernmost corner of 18952.
No. 1388, in red.—Five acres more or less, situate in the Mandeville district, having five chains frontage on the southern side of the Oxford Tram Road and extending southerly ten chains in a rectangular block east of and adjoining 7890.
No. 1389, in red.—Five acres more or less, situate in the Mandeville district, having five chains frontage on the south-western side of the Cust Road and extending south-westerly ten chains in a rectangular block.
No. 1340, in red.—Five acres more or less, situate in the Mandeville district, bounded on the north-west by 12736, on the northward by the road north-west of that section, on the south-east by a line parallel to and ten chains distant from the north-west boundary, and on the south-west by a line at right angles to the above-mentioned road, to include the required quantity.
No. 1341, in red.—Five acres more or less, situate in the Mandeville district, in the river bed of the North branch of the Waimakariri, bounded on the westward by 14785, on the northward by the road south of 1707, on the southward by the North branch of the Waimakariri, and on the eastward by a line parallel to the western boundary, to include the above quantity.
