HIS Honor the Superintendent directs
it to be notified that he has appointed
the following places at which the Poll shall
be taken at the election of members of the
Road Boards of the undermentioned districts
respectively, viz. :—
Courtenay District—White’s
Accommodation House—Courtenay
Mr. Truscott’s Woolshed, near School-
house, West Melton
The Greendale Schoolhouse, River
Hawkins
Levels District (additional)—School-
house at the Point
Mr. Russell’s Woolshed—Otipua

SALE OF TOWN AND RURAL LANDS.
HIS Honor the Superintendent directs
it to be notified that he has fixed
Tuesday, the 14th day of January, 1873, at
the hour of Eleven a.m., at a sitting of the
Waste Lands Board in the Land Office, at
Christchurch, as the time and place when a
sale by auction of town and rural land shall
take place, in accordance with Clause 24
and Clause 35 of the Waste Lands Regula-
tions, subject to the usual conditions of sale,
and in conformity with the Regulations for
the disposal, sale, letting, and occupation of
the Waste Lands of the Crown now in force
within the Province of Canterbury.
Applications will be received by the
Waste Lands Board on and up to Monday,
the thirtieth day of December, 1872.

THE Business of Saddlers’ Ironmonger,
and Wholesale Saddler, hitherto car-
ried on by Mr. John SUFFIELD, in the City
of Christchurch, has been transferred to
Mr. FREDERICK BARKER, now of Christ-
church, by whom the same will, in future,
be carried on. All debts due in connection
with the late business will be paid by Mr.
Barker, by whom, also, all accounts will
be received.
