SCHEDULE.

Woodend District.

Commencing at a point on the seabeach due east of the north-east corner of section 866; thence in a straight line to the said corner; thence westerly along the northern boundaries of the said section and section 1126 to the north-west corner of section 1126; thence southerly to the north-east corner of section 1241; thence westerly along the northern boundary of said section to the north-west corner of said section; thence southerly along the western boundaries of sections 1241 and 947 to the Native Reserve; thence southerly and south-easterly along the eastern boundary of the said reserve to the north-west corner of section 1822; thence along the road forming the western boundary of sections 1822 and 1258 to the south-west corner of the latter section; thence easterly along Lee’s Road to the south-east corner of section 2698; thence in a straight line due east to the sea; thence following northerly by the sea to the starting point.

HIS Honor the Deputy-Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th Clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, viz.—

No. 1373 (in red).—Two roods (more or less), situate in the Town of Geraldine, bounded on the westward by Talbot Street; on the eastward by the high bank or terrace of the River Waihi; on the northward by a line at right angles to the aforesaid street, drawn from a point on the eastern side thereof, being four chains fifty links south of the southernmost corner of Reserve No. 421 (in red); and on the southward by a line parallel to the northern boundary, so as to contain the above quantity.—For a public pound.

No. 1374 (in red).—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Timaru District, bounded on the northward by the Otairi and Pleasant Valley Road; on the south-eastward by the road forming the north-western boundary of Reserve No. 1194 (in red); and on the south-westward by a line at right angles to the latter road, so as to contain the above quantity.—For a gravel pit.

No. 1375 (in red).—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Timaru District, commencing at a point on the north-eastern boundary of section 12,317, situate five chains from the north-east corner of that section; thence north-westerly, following the said boundary a distance of ten chains, and extending north-easterly a distance of five chains in a rectangular block.—For a gravel pit.

No. 1378 (in red).—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Christchurch District, having five chains frontage to the road forming the south-east boundary of Reserve No. 329 (in red), and extending north-westerly a distance of ten chains in a rectangular block south-west of and adjoining the reserve above mentioned.—For a public pound.

No. 1379 (in red).—Four acres (more or less), situate in the Oxford District, bounded on the southward by the road south of section 15,136; on the north-westward by the road forming the north-western boundary of section 13,577; and on the north-eastward by the aforesaid section 15,136.
—For a gravel pit.

No. 1380 (in red).—All that piece or parcel of land in the river-bed of the Ashley, and situate opposite to that portion of the road reserved along the south bank of the river which forms the northern boundaries of sections Nos. 2674, 1684, 2673, and 4415.—For planting purposes in connection with the protection of the southern bank of the River Ashley.

HIS Honor the Deputy-Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, under the 43rd Clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, viz.—

Forty-six acres (more or less), situate at Lake Taylor, in the Waipara District, bounded on the westward by the lake above mentioned; on the northward by H.P.R. on Run No. 202, and also by the stream issuing from Lake Taylor and running into the Raupo Lake; on the eastward by section 3215; and on the southward by the road passing through that section.

One hundred and sixty-four acres (more or less), situate in the Waipara District, bounded on the westward by section 3215; on the northward by Raupo Lake and Taylor’s Creek; on the southward by the proposed new line of the West Coast Road; and on the eastward by a line at right angles to the general direction of said road, so as to include the above quantity.

Twenty acres in the Waipara District, having frontage of three chains to the western side of the West Coast Road, vid the Hurunui, bounded on
