PUBLIC NOTICE.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that in pursuance of "The Public House Ordinance," Session XXIV., No. 17, 1866, and "The Public House Ordinance Amendment Ordinance," Session XXVII., No. 7, 1867, the Quarterly Meeting of Justices of the Peace will be held on TUESDAY, the Third day of September next, in the Resident Magistrates' Courts, Christchurch, Lyttelton, Kaiapoi, Timaru, and Akaroa, at the hour of Eleven in the forenoon, to consider the following applications for Public House Licenses:—
