HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that in pursuance of the powers vested in him by “The Education Ordinance, 1871, Amendment Ordinance, 1872, No. 2,” he has appointed

in the place of J. C. Wilson, Esq., C.B., as the person to whom the annual sum payable under clause 64 of “The Education Ordinance, 1871,” shall be paid.
WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance of the powers vested in me by “The Education Ordinance, 1871, Amendment Ordinance, 1872, No. 2,” do hereby, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council, authorise the undermentioned persons to sue in the name of the Superintendent for the payment of the rates due under the provisions of the 64th Clause of “The Education Ordinance, 1871,” in the several Educational Districts set opposite to their names.
Given under my hand at Christchurch, this Thirteenth day of July, One thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.
