PARTNERSHIP NOTICE.
THE Business hitherto carried on by Charles Perring and Harry Rainy Parker, as "Perring and Parker," has this day been Dissolved by mutual consent.
The Business will in future be carried on by Charles Perring and George Babington Parker under the style of "Perring and Parker," who will receive moneys due to and pay sums owing by the late firm.

WHEREAS a Conditional License and Country Hotel License granted in accordance with "The Public House Ordinance, 1866," and "The Public House Ordinance Amendment Ordinance, 1867," to
Jacob Dunford, of Rakaia, and
J. & J. Turton, of Ashburton, respectively,
were not applied for on or before the 1st July instant, I hereby give notice that the said Licenses have been withheld and referred to the Superintendent, according to clause 18 of the first recited Ordinance.

PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by an Act of the General Assembly of New Zealand, intituled "The Canterbury Temporary Mining Reserves Act, 1869," it is enacted that it shall be lawful for the Superintendent of Canterbury, by Proclamation, to temporarily reserve from sale any lands in which he shall have good reason to believe that precious metals exist: Provided that no such reservation shall continue in force beyond the end of the Session of the Provincial Council next after the issue of such Proclamation.
Now therefore, I, William Rolleston, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, by virtue of the powers enabling me in that behalf, do hereby temporarily reserve from sale the land described in the Schedule hereto.
Given under my hand, at Christchurch, this eighth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

SCHEDULE.
Six hundred and forty acres (more or less), situate in the Waitangi District, being a rectangular block of land situate west of the eastern branch of the Waihoa river, 138 chains 60 links from east to west, and 46 chains 20 links from north to south, the southern boundary being situate 14 chains south of and parallel to the northern boundary of Run No. 69, and the eastern boundary about half-a-mile on the average from the branch of the river above-mentioned.
