SALE OF TOWN AND RURAL LANDS

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has fixed Monday, the fifth day of August, 1872, at the hour of Noon, at a Sitting of the Waste Lands Board, in the Land Office, at Christchurch, as the time and place when a sale by auction of town and rural land shall take place, in accordance with Clause 24 and Clause 35 of the Waste Lands Regulations, subject to the usual conditions of sale, and in conformity with the Regulations for the disposal, sale letting, and occupation of the Waste Lands of the Crown now in force within the Province of Canterbury.

PUBLIC NOTICE

HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that those Pasturage Runs in respect of which the rents and fines shall not have been paid before the first of August, 1872, and which shall have been declared forfeited in terms of Section 7 of “The Canterbury Waste Lands Act, 1869,” and Section 9 of “The Waste Lands Board Appeal Act, 1867,” will be submitted to public auction on Monday, the fifth of August next, at the office of the Waste Lands Board, Christchurch, immediately after the sale by auction of Town and Rural Lands fixed for that day.
