HIS Honor the Superintendent directs the publication of the following Regulations for the distribution of the Funds appropriated by the Provincial Council for the maintenance of Schools in the Province.

REGULATIONS.

  1. That the following scale be adopted by the Board, calculated for the average daily attendance of children efficiently educated.

  2. That on proof that the amount legally leviable by rate in an Educational District has been raised, the Board will supplement the revenue of the school of that district to the extent necessary to meet the requirement of this scale.

  3. That in calculating the revenue raised by rate, an allowance will be made according to the circumstances of the school for necessary expenses.

  4. The Board may make an increased allowance to any school in which a mistress of superior attainments and efficiency is employed, and may sanction the employment of assistant teachers in lieu of pupil teachers.
