All that piece or parcel of land being part
of rural section 96 containing by ad-
measurement one acre and 12 perches
more or less commencing at a point on
the north-eastern boundary of the said
section 28 chains 5 links from the
westernmost corner of section No. 37
thence south-westerly at an angle of
106° with the said north-eastern bound-
ary a distance of 9 chains 86 links
thence south-westerly at an angle of
172° a distance of 3 chains 90 links
thence again south-westerly at an angle
of 162° a distance of 2 chains 85 links
thence at an angle of 166° in a south-
westerly direction a distance of 5 chains
25 links to the south-west boundary of
section No. 96 thence south-easterly
following that boundary a distance of
50 links and from thence following
straight lines parallel to and 50 links
distant from the north-western bound-
ary hereinbefore described to the north-
eastern boundary of the before-men-
tioned section 96 and from thence re-
turning along the same to the com-
mencing point. Save and except the
parcel of land occupied by the Lyttelton
and Christchurch railway.
2nd Column.
All that piece or parcel of land containing
by admeasurement three roods and 20
perches more or less being that portion
of the river Heathcote road 25 feet
wide bounded on the north-eastward
and south-westward by lines respec-
tively in continuation of the north-
eastern and south-western boundaries
of rural section No. 96 on the north-
westward by that section and on the
south-eastward by the river Heathcote
Save and except the parcel of land
occupied by the Lyttelton and Christ-
church railway.
