Commencing at a point on the southern
bank of the river Waimakariri, the same
being the easternmost corner of Run 41;
thence south-westerly, following the south-eastern boundary of that run to the easternmost corner of the Southern Malvern Road District; thence north-westerly, following the north-eastern boundary of that district to a point on the western boundary of section 3719, where it is intersected by the western boundary of the before-mentioned run; thence following a straight line to the north-eastern corner of section 13715;
thence in a straight line to an angle in the Dalethorpe and Kowai Road, situate thirty-three chains fifty links north of the southernmost corner of section 14081; thence north-easterly, following the eastern side of the said road to the north-west corner of section 5177; thence easterly, following the northern boundary of that section to the north-eastern corner thereof; thence north-westerly, following a straight line to the southernmost corner of section 5321; thence following the south-western, the western, and the north-western boundaries of that section, and the south-eastern boundary of section 4573, to the southernmost corner of section 4803; thence following the south-western boundary of the latter section to the westernmost corner thereof; thence following a straight line to the westernmost corner of section 4739; thence following the north-western boundary of that section to the river Waimakariri aforesaid, and from thence returning along the south-western bank of that river to the commencing point.

In pursuance of Clause 57 of “The Roads Ordinance, 1869,” I hereby call a Meeting of the Ratepayers of the above District, for TUESDAY, the Eleventh July next, at Noon, at Willis’ Accommodation House, for the Election of a Road Board.

SALE OF TOWN AND RURAL LANDS
His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has fixed MONDAY, the Seventh day of August, 1871, at the hour of Noon, at a Sitting of the Waste Lands Board, in the Land Office, at Christchurch, as the time and place when a Sale by Auction of Town and Rural Land shall take place, in accordance with Clause 24 and Clause 35 of the Waste Lands Regulations, subject to the usual conditions of Sale, and in conformity with the Regulations for the disposal, sale, letting, and occupation of the Waste Lands of the Crown now in force within the Province of Canterbury.
Applications will be received by the Waste Lands Board on and up to Monday, the Twenty-fourth day of July, 1871.

HEREBY GIVE NOTICE, that those Pasturage Runs in respect of which the Rents and Fines shall not have been paid before the First of August, 1871, and which shall have been declared forfeited, in terms of Section 7 of “The Canterbury Waste Lands Act, 1869,” and Section 9 of “The Waste Lands Board Appeal Act, 1867,” will be submitted to Public Auction, on MONDAY, the Seventh day of August next, at the Office of the Waste Lands Board, Christchurch, immediately after the Sale by Auction of Town and Rural Lands fixed for that day.
