it to be notified that he has been
pleased to appoint
JAMES R. HILL, Esq.,
to be a Member of the Park and Domain
Board.

PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS on the Eighteenth day of
February, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, I, William Rolleston,
Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury,
bury, did prorogue the Provincial Council
till Friday, the Twenty-eighth day of April,
one thousand eight hundred and seventy-one, and this said Provincial Council did
stand prorogued accordingly:
Now therefore, I, WILLIAM ROLLESTON,
the Superintendent as aforesaid, in pursuance of the powers vested in me in this
behalf, do hereby further prorogue the said
Provincial Council until Saturday, the 20th
day of May, one thousand eight hundred
and seventy-one.
Given under my hand, at Christchurch,
this Nineteenth day of April, one
thousand eight hundred and
seventy-one.
