PUBLIC NOTICE

His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that TUESDAY, the 4th APRIL, will be observed as a PUBLIC HOLIDAY, in honor of the visit of His Excellency the Governor.

His Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserve temporarily, under the 19th Clause of the Waste Lands Regulations, for purposes of a School, viz.:

No. 1300 (in red).—Ten acres three roods (more or less), situate in the Ashley District, bounded on the northward by section 5522; on the south-eastward by the Rangiora and Leithfield road; and on the south-westward by section 4607.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.

NOTICE.

The Partnership hitherto existing between Henry Thorne Shepherd, senr., John Hoskyns, Henry Trichett, Jason Davies, Henry Grainger, Albert Charles Truscott, Joseph Painter, Henry Thorne Shepherd, junr., John Turner, and John Hill, under the name of “Shepherd, Hoskyns, and Co.,” was dissolved as regards John Hoskyns, Jason Davies, John Turner, and Joseph Painter, on the 14th day of February, 1871.

The Partnership for the future will be carried on by Henry Thorne Shepherd, senr., Henry Trichett, Henry Grainger, Albert Charles Truscott, Henry Thorne Shepherd, junr., and John Hill, under the firm of “Shepherd and Co.,” all accounts to be paid and received by the said firm.
