HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that the Public Offices will be closed on Saturday, the 24th, and Monday, the 26th instant, and on Monday and Tuesday, the 2nd and 3rd of January, 1871.

IN THE SUPREME COURT OF NEW ZEALAND,

CANTERBURY DISTRICT.

PURSUANT to the Provisions of "The Bankruptcy Act Amendment Act, 1868."

I do order that until further order The Timaru and Gladstone Gazette newspaper be a Gazette for the purposes of the said Act for that part of my Judicial District comprising that portion of the Province of Canterbury lying between the Rivers Rangitata and Waitaki, and being the Electoral Districts of Timaru and Gladstone, as the same are described in the Schedule to "The Representation Act, 1865."

Dated at Christchurch this Twenty-first day of October, 1870.
