"LOST LAND ORDERS ACT, 1861."

In Re Lost Canterbury Association Rural Land Order No. 243.

I HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that I will hold a Court in the Office of the Waste Lands Board, Christchurch, on Wednesday, the 12th day of October, 1870, at 11 o’clock a.m., for the purpose of considering the claim of "The Church Property Trustees," Canterbury, New Zealand, to have a Crown Grant issued to them, in exchange for a Canterbury Association Rural Land Order for One Thousand Acres of Land, numbered 243, which said Land Order was originally issued to the Ecclesiastical Sub-Committee of the Canterbury Association, and is now declared by the said "Church Property Trustees" to be lost.

Any persons interested in the above claim are requested to attend.

HIS Honor the Deputy-Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserve temporarily under the 19th Clause of the Waste Land Regulations, viz.:—

No. 1255 (in red.)—Five acres (more or less), situate in the Malvern District, bounded on the eastward by the Hawkins and Selwyn road; on the southward by the road forming the northern boundary of section 12527; on the westward by a line parallel to and 10 chains distant from the eastern boundary; and on the northward by a line at right angles to the last described boundary, so as to contain the above quantity.—For a Gravel Pit.
