ERRATUM.

IN “Supplementary Gazette,” dated Monday, July 11, 1870, page 5, in last line of Schedule A. to Christchurch City Council Regulation No. 1, for “from Tuam street” read “from High street.”


WILLIAM ROLLESTON, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, in pursuance and exercise of the powers delegated to me under the “Diseased Cattle Act, 1861,” and the “Diseased Cattle Act Amendment Act, 1865,” do hereby appoint

Ernest Alfred Shrimpton

to be an Inspector under the said Acts.

This appointment to take effect from and after the day following the date of publication in the New Zealand Gazette.

Given under my hand, this 20th day of July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.

KNOW ALL MEN by these Presents

that I, William Rolleston, Superintendent of the Province of Canterbury, New Zealand, being as such Superintendent

as aforesaid, seized in fee for the purpose of creating a public roadway of that part of rural section of land numbered 79 on the map of the Chief Surveyor of the said Province of Canterbury, and situate in the Christchurch District thereof, containing by admeasurement one acre, two roods, nineteen perches, more or less, commencing at a point in line with the eastern side of Montreal street, and distant from the southern side of the South Town Belt five chains fifty links, thence due south a distance of seventy links, and extending due east a distance of twenty-three chains eighteen links, in a rectangular block, to Colombo street south, and delineated and coloured green in the plan drawn hereon, for divers good causes and considerations, do hereby dedicate the said land to the public, to the intent that the same may for ever hereafter be used as and be a public highway, to all intents and purposes whatsoever. In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand, this twentieth day of July, one thousand eight hundred and seventy.
