(a) A further sum of £1000 was drawn early in July, and will appear in the next quarter’s account.

(b) This includes advertising in a large number of papers in the last quarter of 1868, as well as during the last six months.

(c) This includes a sum of £251 14s. 11d. expended during the past twelve months for "special services." This sum will be included in a draft, probably at the end of next quarter, to reimburse the Emigration Account the outlay under this head to that date. The balance is therefore £795 11s. 4d., less £251 14s. 11d. = £533 16s. 5d.
