HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that the Public Offices will be closed on Good Friday, on Saturday, the 16th inst., and on Easter Monday and Tuesday.

NOTICE is hereby given that Papers referring to “The Government Annuities Act, 1869,” can be seen at the Office of the Provincial Secretary, Christchurch.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserve, temporarily, under the 19th Clause of “The Waste Lands Regulations,” viz.:

No. 1247, in red.—Thirty acres, more or less, situate in the Upper Christchurch District, bounded on the southward by the Coal Road, on the westward by the road forming the eastern boundary of 6453, on the northward by the terrace or southern high bank of the Waimakariri, and on the eastward by a line parallel to the western boundary to include the required quantity—for purposes in connection with the Waimakariri Protective Works.
