No. 1120, in red.—One hundred and thirty-two acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton District, commencing at a point on the road forming the south-western boundary of section 5800, the same being the southernmost corner thereof; thence south-easterly following the said road to section 12,758; thence north-easterly, following the north-western boundary of that section a distance of forty chains; thence south-easterly, following the north-eastern boundaries of sections 12,758, 12,918, and 10,380; thence north-easterly, following the continuation of the south-eastern boundary line of the latter section, for a distance of about twenty-four and a half chains; thence north-westerly at a right angle following a straight line to a point in line with the south-eastern boundary of the aforesaid section 5800; and from thence returning along that line and boundary to the commencing point—As an endowment for a Hospital.

No. 1121, in red.—Sixty-six acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-east by section 9945; on the north-west by the road forming the north-western boundary of the said section; on the south-east by 11,002; and on the south-west by the road on the south-western side of the latter section—As an endowment for a Lunatic Asylum.

No. 1122, in red.—Three hundred and thirty-five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-westward by section 3962; on the northward and eastward by the high bank of the River Ashburton, and also by the road forming the north-western boundary of section 9945; on the south-westward by the latter section, and also by the road on the south-western side of section 11,002, save and except sections Nos. 4440 and 10,853—As an endowment for a Hospital.

No. 1123, in red.—Ninety acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-east by the Ashburton road north; on the south-east by I.P.R.Q. on run No. 124; on the south-west by the river-bed of the Ashburton; and on the north-west by section 11,249—As an endowment for a Hospital.

No. 1124, in red.—Two hundred and fifty-five acres, more or less, situate in the Ashburton District, bounded on the north-east by a branch of the River Ashburton; and on the south-west by another branch of the same river, and also by section 4139; on the south-east by the said section, and by I.P.R.A. on run 126; and on the north-west by a line drawn at right angles to the road which passes through the aforesaid pre-emptive right, so as to contain the above quantity—As an endowment for a Hospital.

THE PARTNERSHIP hitherto subsisting between the undersigned and Herbert Edward Alport, of Christchurch, trading as Auctioneers and Commission Agents, under the style of Wilson and Alport, has this day ceased.

  1. The name and style of the Company is “The Peninsula Quartz Mining Company, Registered.”

  2. The place of intended operations is at M’Queen’s Pass, Banks’ Peninsula, in the Province of Canterbury.

  3. The nominal capital of the Company is Two Thousand Five Hundred Pounds, in 500 Shares of Five Pounds each.

  4. The amount already paid up is One Hundred and Thirty-five Pounds.

  5. The name (in full) of the Manager is Harold Henry DeBourbel.

  6. The office of the Company is in Cathedral Square, in the City of Christchurch.
