Christchurch, July 16, 1869.

HIS Honor the Deputy-Superintendent directs it to be notified that he has made the following Reserves, temporarily, under the 19th Clause of The Waste Lands Regulations, viz:—

No. 1077, in red.—Thirty acres in the Upper Christchurch District, being a square block of land, south of, and adjoining improvement pre-emptive right C, on run No. 39—Subject to a road if required on survey: for public purposes.

No. 1078, in red.—Five acres more or less, situate in the Oxford District, bounded on the southward by 10263, on the south-westward by the road north-east of 8290, on the eastward by a line at right angles to the northern boundary of 10263, drawn from a point thereon, being five chains east of the westernmost corner of that section, and on the northward by a line parallel to the southern boundary, to include the required quantity—for a Gravel pit.

No. 1079, in red.—Five acres more or less situate in the Oxford District, bounded on the westward and south-westward by the road south and north-east of 7809, on the northward by 6949, and also by the road above mentioned, on the eastward by 4217, and on the southward by 8884—for a Gravel pit.
