CANTERBURY DISTRICT.

In the matter of the "Debtors and Creditors Acts."

HIS Honor, Henry Barnes Gresson, Esq., the Judge presiding in this Honourable Court, has appointed that the Court shall sit for the despatch of business accruing under the provisions of the above mentioned Acts, at the Court House, Christchurch, on Thursday, the Twentieth day of February next, at Eleven o’Clock in the forenoon.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Sections of Land Specified below will be submitted to Public Auction, at the sitting of the Waste Lands Board, to be held at the Land Office, Christchurch, on THURSDAY, February the 18th, 1868, at the hour of Noon, subject to the usual conditions of sale, and in conformity with the Regulations for the disposal, sale, letting, and occupation of the Waste Lands of the Crown, now in force within the Province of Canterbury.

TAKE Notice that the hearing of the petitions of the undermentioned debtors is fixed for Monday, the Sixth day of February next, at the Court House, Hokitika; namely: Duncan McNab, Peter Griffin, and Phillip Sternberg; and further take notice that all creditors are required to prove their debts by affidavit, to be filed in the above named Court before the said Sixth day of February.

Forms of application for registration under "The Medical Practitioners’ Act, 1867," can be obtained by applying to the undermentioned Assessor, or to the Registrar of the Medical Board in Wellington.

All persons desirous of having their names entered on the forthcoming Register, must make application prior to the Ninth day of April, 1868.
