PUBLIC NOTICE.

HIS Honor the Superintendent directs it to be notified that Wednesday, the 16th instant, being the Anniversary of the Foundation of the Settlement, the Public Offices will be closed on that day.

PUBLIC NOTICE.

HEREBY GIVE NOTICE that after this date, Crown Grants will only be delivered to the original purchasers or their representatives, on production of the “License to Occupy,” or to persons presenting authorities from such original purchasers or their representatives signed before a Solicitor admitted to the Supreme Court, or before a Justice of the Peace.

TIMARU BOROUGH POUND.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Public Pound lately erected on the Provincial Reserve, Queen Street, Timaru, was removed to the Municipal Reserve Section No. 171, fronting on Heaton Street, Timaru, and that the Pound is now ready for impounding purposes.

on the 23rd day of November, 1868.

NOTICE is hereby given that Joseph Ellis of Timaru, was appointed Poundkeeper of the Timaru Borough Pound, on the 9th day of November, 1868.
